Interruptive Ads
Some commercials I am able to watch but sometimes the ones on TV which always interrupt my shows are just pointless to me. I don't watch TV as much anymore but when I do, I still get annoyed of the ads that come on every few minutes when there is a good part in the show. Many times the commercial is very short and it is okay but other times they cut to a long and boring commercial and it makes me not want to watch television anymore.
We are seeing more and more interruptive advertising each day and it is seen more online now. Every time that you want to watch a video or hear a song, you have to watch a commercial first. For example Pandora will let you listen to a few songs in a row but after 3 songs or so they throw in a commercial and sometimes it can get annoying. Youtube is another example in that they have a commercial before you watch the video and also while you are watching the video. Many times you can't even skip the commercial so what I do is I just mute the sound.
These are some All state commercials which come on from time to time when I am watching television. They are quick and they get right to the point so I don't mind when they come on but when a commercial comes on every 2 or 3 minutes when the show is getting good, it really bothers me. The way that All State does it is really smart because they catch our attention within the first few seconds of the commercial. If every commercial on television was like this then I wouldn't mind seeing them but if it is boring and long then that company will have a hard time selling their product.
